Manifesto for May 2026 Election
1. Safer, Smarter, Cleaner Streets
We will make our roads safer with 20 mph limits where communities want them, fix potholes and pavements, tackle congestion with smarter traffic management, work with TfL to improve local transport, and expand air quality monitoring to keep Bromley’s air clean.
2. A Council That Works for You
We will deliver better customer service, greater transparency, and real accountability—no more being ignored or passed around when you need answers.
3. Strong, Supported Communities
We will protect Bromley’s local identity and heritage, stop the sell-off of community assets, back neighbourhood policing to cut car crime and shoplifting, and make sure every resident—through digital inclusion and better disabled access—can take part in community life and have a real say in how development funds (CIL) are spent.
4. Health, Care and Fair Access
We will fight for quicker GP appointments, fair access to NHS dentists, and action on digital exclusion so everyone can access the services they need without barriers.
5. Homes, High Streets and Green Spaces
We will support housing and redevelopment that meets the housing need, respects local character, reinvigorates our town centres with investment and business support, and protect Bromley’s green spaces and heritage buildings.
