Ian has lived in Orpington for 15 years and works in the City of London. Born in Scotland, he has travelled widely and lived and worked in several countries before settling locally with his wife. Ian is passionate about improving his community and believes Farnborough & Crofton deserves hardworking councillors who listen and deliver. He is standing to ensure residents’ voices are heard and to support practical improvements across the local area.
Deepanshi is the founder of Rain On Me, a non-profit supporting young adults’ mental health through peer groups. She is a trustee of LAPIS, an ambassador for MQ Mental Health Research, and serves on a youth board. She works at the Royal College of Psychiatrists and is completing an MSc in Person-Centred Psychotherapy. Deepanshi is standing because she cares deeply about mental health and youth services, and wants to ensure better support for young people locally.
John has lived in Bromley since 1979 and values its unique balance between city life and access to the countryside. He worked as an Inspector of Taxes before becoming a statistician, bringing strong analytical experience to local issues. John is particularly concerned about improving public transport for residents. He is standing as a Liberal Democrat candidate to support practical, common-sense solutions and ensure local people have a strong, independent voice on the council.
