Chelsfield Ward
Joe Watchorn
Joe has lived in Bromley his whole life and is proud to call the borough home. Growing up locally has given him a strong understanding of the community and the issues that matter most to residents.
He became involved in politics at university, developing a particular interest in housing, education, and the environment. After graduating, he worked in political consultancy before going on to run his own business, giving him practical experience in decision-making and budgeting - as well as the importance of small businesses to the local economy.
At 24, Joe wants to bring a fresh but grounded perspective to Bromley Council. His priorities are delivering affordable housing, protecting green spaces, and ensuring access to high-quality education for every family in the borough.
Why Joe is standing for election
To ensure the Council delivers affordable housing, high-quality education, and real environmental change, while giving a younger generation a strong voice on the council.
