Alan and family, came to Bromley Common in 1982: attracted by access to London, open spaces and good local schools. He has represented the ward before and served as a school governor. A retired engineer, he worked for banks and retailers saving them money by reducing their energy use. In retirement, he plays croquet, golf, bridge and guitar. He anticipates that land use changes in the Magpie Hall Lane and Princes Plain area will need scrutiny.
Clive has lived in Bromley for most of his life and moved to Chatterton Village in 2012, where he enjoys its friendly and diverse community. Now retired, he volunteers with Bromley Well, helping older residents build confidence using technology, including accessing NHS services. A long-time Liberal Democrat, Clive is standing to support the party’s values locally and to ensure residents have a strong voice and practical support in their community.
Andrew Viner has lived in Bromley since 1976 and now lives in Bromley Common, valuing its strong community and access to both London and the Kent countryside. A retired solicitor, he worked for the Law Society and as a Government lawyer, and now volunteers as a counsellor. Andrew is passionate about protecting local green spaces, including Bromley Common, and is standing to promote community, safeguard the environment, and uphold Liberal Democrat values.
