Meet Tudor

Your Liberal Democrat candidate for Hayes & Coney Hall

About Tudor

Born in Wales, Tudor has lived in Hayes with his family for over 20 years, and his daughter attended the local schools. He is an experienced independent financial adviser and is an active member of Hayes Parish Church.

Tudor is a lifelong Liberal and Liberal Democrat and has stood for election in the Hayes & Coney Hall ward of Bromley Council many times previously. Strongly committed to the protection of our environment, he feels we have a duty to future generations to minimise the damage we are doing to the world around us. Tudor is committed to making sure that the local people have a real say in what happens in their community, increasing consultation and involvement with the people most affected by the decisions the Council makes. He has been a vocal opponent recently of the Conservative Council’s decision to sell off our publicly owned assets, including the Churchill Theatre site, the old Bishop’s Palace and Community House.

Tudor is also keen to see sensible measures to reduce anti social behaviour in Hayes, including working with the police to ensure that local people receive a prompt response when they call for help. He shares many people’s concern about road safety in Hayes.

Take a look at the leaflets we've been distributing all over Hayes and Coney Hall here.

Tudor's priorities

I know many people share my concerns about making sure that Hayes remains a great place to live for people of all ages.

  1. Safer streets for all road users

  2. Work with the police to combat anti-social behaviour and to ensure local crimes receive a prompt response

  3. Protect our environment for current and future generations

  4. Make sure the local people of Hayes are heard

  5. Protecting our publicly owned assets from being sold off

Hayes has been my family's home for over 20 years, it's a wonderful community and I'm dedicated to serving it.
