Hayes & Coney Hall by-election

7th December 2023

There will be a by-election in the Hayes and Coney Hall ward of Bromley Council on 7th December. The vacancy has been caused by the sad death of Councillor Andrew Lee. 

The Liberal Democrats have selected local resident Tudor Griffiths to be their candidate in the by-election.

A local champion for Hayes and Coney Hall

Tudor has lived in Hayes with his family for over 20 years. He's strongly committed to the protection of our environment as we have a duty to future generations to minimise the damage we are doing to the world around us.

He wants everyone to have a say in what happens in their community, and is a vocal opponent of the Conservative Council’s decision to sell off our publicly owned assets, including the Churchill Theatre site, the old Bishop’s Palace and Community House.

Tudor is concerned about road safety - he will work hard for safer streets for all road users.
Tudor will work with the local police to combat the rise in anti social behaviour in Hayes and to ensure local crimes get a prompt response.
Tudor is strongly committed to the protection of our environment, he feels we have a duty to future generations to minimise the damage we are doing to the world around us.
Tudor wants to sure that local people in Hayes have a real say in what happens in their community including full consultation about planning and development
