Developer BeLiving has applied for planning permission for a 23 storey residential block of rental only units on Sherman Road next to Bromley North station. We welcome the proposed provision of affordable housing (although the Council need to confirm the details of this) but we share residents’ concerns that 23 storeys is just too tall for this area and the neighbouring conservation
We attended the public consultation last September where the developer suggested they would reconsider 21 storeys because of the strong public concern so we are surprised to see that the development has grown rather than shrunk in size. It is vital that the views of local residents are heard so please take some time to lodge your comments with Bromley Council.
