Sign our letter to Beckenham MP Bob Stewart, supporting a People's Vote.
Dear Mr Stewart
We are writing to you to express our concern over the UK's future relationship with the EU, and to ask that you press our right to a final say on the terms of the deal by supporting a People's Vote.
Nobody in Beckenham voted for a bad deal, or a 'no deal' that would wreck our economy. Nor do we accept that either is inevitable. No one voted to be poorer, for our public services to suffer, for food and medicine to be stockpiled or to pay a £40bn divorce fee.
More and more of us - whether we voted to Leave or Remain in 2016 - are unhappy about the deal proposed by Theresa May. And more and more of us are demanding a People's Vote.
Recent polling tells us that 75% of people think that Brexit is a mess, that Brexit is distracting government from Britain's real problems, and that most people in Beckenham support a People's Vote.
We therefore ask that you, as MP for Beckenham, represent our wishes as constituents and give us - and the people of Britain - the final say on the terms of the Brexit deal by supporting a People's Vote.
