Hi, I’m Graeme. I’m 43, married and have two children. I’ve been a resident of Orpington since 2012 but before then I lived in East London for many years but there is no hiding my accent, I was raised in Hull. I’ve had many jobs over the years, I’ve been a stand up comedian, an actor, a phone salesman and a tour guide but they all had one thing in common and that was being in a position to make peoples lives a little better and this is something that I want to continue to do.
I spent my working life in the Construction Industry but am now retired. I live in Valley View, Biggin Hill with my wife Sylvia. I have a daughter and three sons married with my nine grandchildren. I served as a Councillor from 1994 for twelve years on Bromley Council so have a good understanding of the work involved both representing my ward and debating policy on Council committees. I am a Committee Member on the Biggin Hill Residents Association and a Trustee of two charities. I have a firm belief that the individual has a vital role to play in their community and we represent a Party that consults and listens to residents so their views are reflected in Council decisions.
