Following their latest summit, Tony Blair and President George W. Bush have come under fire from local Liberal Democrats.

Tony Blair recently met with George Bush to discuss their war in Iraq. Three years after the war started, lives are still being lost every day. Over 100 British servicemen have lost their lives.

Councillor Ben Abbotts said: "Tony Blair has consistently ignored the British people on Iraq. We remain mired in a costly war with no end in sight."

Despite Blair's close relationship with George W. Bush, he has failed to get America to sign up to action to tackle pollution and climate change.

Ben added, "Bromley residents and the rest of the world deserve much better from their leaders."
