Lib Dem Duncan Borrowman is calling for action against yobs

The Chelsfield & Pratts Bottom Liberal Democrat team are calling for a meeting between local residents, the committee of Windsor Drive Community Centre and the local ward police officer following an incident on 21 January when the Police closed down a party - causing 150 youths to tip out onto the streets, and a number of disturbances in the area.

After a recent incident when the area was covered in graffiti after a teenage party the Community Centre changed it's booking rules.

The event on 21 January was booked as a "surprise 30th birthday party" but was in fact a party for 16 year olds.

Lib Dem Duncan Borrowman said: "As it's name says, the Community Centre is a facility for the local community. We need to ensure that incidents like this don't happen again - disturbing the community and putting the centre's licence under threat.

"The Community Centre is a great asset for local people, we don't want it's future ruined by a bunch of yobs - most, if not all, of whom live outside of our area."
