The campaign by the Liberal Democrats to win the Bexley and Bromley seat in June 2004 has been given a massive boost by the recruitment of Jonathan Fryer to the local campaign.

On 10th June 2004 local residents will have the opportunity to cast votes to choose the London mayor, a London Assembly member to represent the two London boroughs, list members of the London Assembly and members of the European Parliament.

Duncan Borrowman, the local Bexley and Bromley Lib Dem candidate, said; "Jonathan is no 2 on our list for London in the European election, and stands a good chance to win a seat in the European Parliament. Jonathan is a former councillor in Orpington and I have worked closely with him for many years, he is a great boost to our local campaign".
