A poll conducted by the Liberal Democrats on their www.bromleylibdems.org.uk site has overwhelmingly said that Bromley has lost its Clean and Green reputation under the Conservatives and has become Grey and Dirty.

The poll was started at the same time as the News Shopper launched its own poll on the state of the Borough and held a clean up in Keston with local political leaders form both the Liberal Democrats and the Conservatives.

86% of those taking part said the borough had become Grey and Dirty under the Conservatives, compared to 13% who condider it still Clean and Green and 1% who didn't know.

Lib Dem spokesman Duncan Borrowman said; "This confirms that the Tories are letting down Bromley and failing to keep the borough clean. It is time the Tory controlled Council started delivering on their promises"
